In early 2026, I had the pleasure of serving as the LX Programmer for Lighting Designer Drummond Orr on the West End transfer of Gerry & Sewell. Produced by Eastlake Productions, the hit show made its highly anticipated London run at the historic Aldwych Theatre.

I am honoured to collaborate regularly with comedian Carl Hutchinson, serving as the Lighting Designer for his digital specials as well as his brand-new live show, Fine Whine. Designing for stand-up comedy requires a clean, dynamic visual style that complements the performance, and it is a privilege to bring these productions to life for both digital screens and live theatre audiences.

I’ve used Gary twice now for my comedy special records and he’s knocked it out of the park for me on both occasions. Gary arrived with his own ideas about the lighting design needed for the Daisy Donald show tour, which was brilliant, but he also took time to become more familiar with the show and worked with the director to make some tweaks to perfect it. His design was spot on and his professionalism was second to none.

We were so privileged to have Gary do our lighting design & operation for Six: Teen Edition. The finished design surpassed all expectations; it really made the whole production extra special. Six is such a tech heavy show and the lighting was a massive part of the production; we had amazing comments from audience members and from cast members about how amazing it was to perform with such excellent lighting. We can’t thank Gary enough for his expertise and hard work on our production.
